ARTIST HISTORY
It isn't very often that you find four women in one band, who each contribute enough personality, musicianship, and high-energy to command a live rock performance that has kept their fans loyal and converted most newcomers. On stage, Echoset is both passionate and playful; off stage, Echoset boasts mutual respect and hard work. Beth Puorro (vocals, guitar), Rae Goldring (bass), and Sarah Glynn (lead guitar, backing vocals) all agree that Echoset is much greater than the sum of its parts. And this isn't too surprising given the three band mates have also been longtime friends.

Since its formation in 2000, the Austin, TX band has transcended difficulties common to many bands through creative thinking and fast action. The group is consistently voted one of Austin's best live bands in the Austin Chronicle's annual poll, and this is largely due to the group's tireless and innovative promotional techniques. When it comes to touring, the band is quite proud of its ability to have completed 7 west coast tours and 1 east coast tour over the past 3 years. In addition to its strong presence in Texas, the group has succeeded in growing fan bases in national markets, including Portland, San Francisco, and L.A.

They have shared the stage with some of the most talented national and regional acts, including The Burden Brothers, Patrice Pike (Sister 7), Bob Schneider, Michelle Shocked, Goudie, Dollyrots, Cruiserweight and Dada.

Echoset will be in the studio this spring recording their third full length album and will take a short break from touring until the album is completed.
