ARTIST HISTORY
Tripmynd began to form in mid 2006 by former Instill band mates, guitarist Marc Pugliese and bassist Andy Antczak, with the desire to create a high energy sound and get away from the repetitive music often heard in the Boston scene. Marc, who had just left his last band, was looking for something different. After auditioning for a few bands he crossed paths with old friend Andy Antczak, when the two coincidently found out they had auditioned for the same band. Upon finding this out Marc called up Andy and expressed his desire to ditch joining a band and start a brand new band from scratch. Upon plugging in and playing together for the first time in years, the two both knew that had found what they were looking for. After writing 5 songs vocalist Joe Boccelli of the local hard rock heavyweight Visional auditioned and was gladly accepted into the fold. Drummer Nick Alenskis joined the band in 2008
