ARTIST HISTORY
Tone & Niche (tone & Neesh), an original pop/rock band based out of Detroit, entices their audiences with energy, talent and passion. Tone and Niche consists of Anthony Retka (guitar/vocals), Nicole Varga (violin, mandolin and viola), Nick White (bass guitar), Chris Bober (guitar), and Scottie Stone (drums). Tone and Niche’s eclectic mix of pop/rock and singer/songwriter styles, stem from the inspiration of performers such as The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Radiohead, Motown, Duke Ellington and Billie Holdiay.
For the last two years Tone and Niche have performed all over in places such as Nashville, New York, Chicago and Cleveland. They have shared the bill with several national recording artists including: Martha Wainwright, Mike Errico and Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers.
2007 plans to be a big year for the Tone & Niche band as they release another record and go on the road.
