ARTIST HISTORY
It all started on July 11th, 2009 when Eddy’s friends Daniel, Henry, and Max came over. When they met for the first time they made an original song together called “If they only knew”. Unfortunately later that week Daniel had to leave because he had to go back to Australia and the band was put on hold for a few weeks.
But then one day while Eddy was at his Drivers Ed classes during August he met Jackson and he asked him if he wanted to jam sometime since Jackson was into music as well. So then 3 weeks later Max, Eddy, Henry, and Jackson jammed for the first time together. During that jam session something clicked and they knew that they were meant to be in a band together. So because of this Eddy then bought a condenser microphone and they recorded a full live demo version of “If they only knew”.
They then decided on a name and named the band “Skylight Avenue”. However, due to copyright issues with a band from the UK under the same name they had to change the name to “The Remedy”. They thought that this name suit there music and lyrics the best.
