The Gateway Drug is a Hip-Hop trio from Sioux City, Iowa. Made up of MC Brew (emcee), DJ Poyo (producer/deejay), and The Top Civilian (emcee) -- The Gateway Drug is known for their funkdafied jungle beats, dope freestyles, philosophical musings, spaced-out instrumentation, and off-the-wall poetic lyrics. But don't let the Hip-Hop label fool ya, these guys are more roving troubadours than they are hardcore rhymers.
