STACIE LYNN
Nova Scotia, Canada - Stacie Lynn has been professionally trained in the method of breathing and vocalization. She has also been in theatre and has been part of many stage performances. Her awards are numerous and her many special skills and talents, loves and extra activities that she has been part of, created an extraordinary human being. From soccer matches to memberships in many songwriters’ associations, she is by far the most professionally skilled artist that I’m aware of.
Her motivation for music started during the three years in junior high. Being bullied at this vulnerable age ignited a challenge in her to take those experiences and put them into her music. Her first song was called, Beautiful. She wrote the song as a thank you to her mother for her help during those difficult years. Stacie has been writing ever since.
Her new single, Prince Charming is off of her new CD, Beautiful. This song was written from a situation with her very dear friend. As is all of Stacie’s music, her inspiration comes from life experiences. Every song she writes has deep meaning to her; from “Beautiful”, which was written and recorded at the age of 14, to “Where Our Memories Should Go”, which was written and recorded at age 17.
“Prince Charming” also plays a significant milestone for Stacie. This is the first song that she was able to accompany herself with the guitar during the recording process.
Her acoustic guitar playing is beautiful, her vocals have a wide range of abilities – from soft to very strong, in order to tell the story as it should be told. The stories are told through a traditional introspective mode. Not many artists are capable of doing this. Let’s not forget the incredible beat and rhythm. Bravo to Stacie for showing us how it’s done.
Stacie Lynn’s story is extraordinary. Live her life through her music, as she is quite an artist.

Message about the Strength in music

I am 19 years old now. But wanted to share with you all the pain of being bullied. Mine was in the public school system. Started out in elementary, nothing too serious, being laughed at and made fun of. By junior high they believed they could physically touch me. I was assaulted on the school bus and my best friend who tried to keep me from crying, they set her on fire. By the end of junior high, the pain they were inflicting was tremendous.
I took all that pain and started writing songs. The first song was called Beautiful written at age 14 for my mother. I wanted to thank her for all her help and support during the very hard times. Then the music just kept flowing. Every time they would do something to me, I would write about it. Check out my video "She's Amazing" - basically written about my life.
My reason for telling you all this, is that music is so much deeper than just words and melodies. Music can take pain away, it can promote something inside a person that is deeper than most people can imagine. Take your experiences, good and bad, make them real and share them with the world.
