ARTIST HISTORY
South for the Summer was formed in 2006 at Las Vegas High School, by classmates Jared Hiram and Phil Adkins, who both shared a tremendous passion for music and were looking to start a band. From there the duo recruited friend and classmate Jerry Owens to play guitar and the band was almost set. After a few lineup changes the band discovered an amazing guitarist named Jamnis on the local Craigslist ad site and the band was set! Combining a mixture of personal influences, like Bon Jovi, Blink 182 and numerous classic rock artists, South for the Summer began to write songs we felt would change the game and usher in a new era of catchy tunes for various age groups to enjoy while inspiring change and shaking up the music world. The bottom line is we are going to the top no matter what and will never give up our dreams!
