ARTIST HISTORY
Guitarist-bassist-song writer-producer Oti Brown is an African citizen-of-the-world, both in terms of his life journey and musical vocabulary. As a singer, composer and virtuoso instrumentalist, his trademark sound is an esoteric but accessible amalgam of influences from his past and present, an inventively forward-looking yet folklore-based mix that raises spirits while falling smoothly on the ear.

Der Sänger, Komponist. und Arrangeur, Oti Brown ist ein afrikanischer Weltbürger, der als Lucky Otitigbe 1973 in Nigeria geboren worden ist.
Er entwickelte einen eigenen Stil als singender Schlag-zeuger und Bassist.
Sein Afrobeat und Reggae wurde in den letzten Jahren ver-mischt mit europäischen Stilrichtungen, so dass er heute Afro Funk mit Blues und Jazz interpretiert.
In seiner Gruppe ist auch eine Bläsergruppe, die dem Auftritt auf der Insel die richtigen swingenden Riffs gibt.
