ARTIST HISTORY
Don't be fooled by my colorful hair and confidence! I take my career and music very seriously. My confidence is me believing in myself as an artist, while I continue to learn every step of the way. My look is fun because I am a performer! I would sacrifice my eye sight, my ability to walk, and all materialistic things, as long as I have my ears and my voice for eternity. I am ready to rock the stage, and help people heal and have fun through my music! I want to be the entertainer that I would pay $150 to see". - Kristen McNamara

Kristen McNamara, 22 years old, born August 5th 1985. In 1987, she moved with her family to the Northern California, in a small town located in the heart of California's Wine Country, population 2,000. With parents who worked extremely hard just to get by, Kristen found the greatest gift was her musical talents. She sold her chicken's eggs on the side, and grew up riding dirt bikes and loving the outdoors, while started writing music at age 7. The moment you meet Kristen, you automatically know you are in the presence of someone who is bound to be a worldwide music icon. She is constantly making people laugh, and isn't afraid to be the one to make a bold first impression. Don't let this pop diva's bubbly side convince you she isn't serious about her music, because it's quite the opposite. Everyone who knows her work ethic, just knows she is the sweetheart of music, and will be very successful. Her love for music wasn't a surprise, everyone in her family is musical. The family is the size of an Army! With almost 50 cousins, several Aunts and Uncles and lots of talent in everyone.... she was bound to end up with something good. Her grandmother was a vocal coach, and toured the U.S. with a group called "The Shirleys" (all of them happened to have the same name). Singing in chorus at school and church was not enough for Kristen, she yearned for more. Starting with nothing but a tape of the Beach Boys singing "Wouldn't It Be Nice" Kristen trained herself to sing every song perfect. Listening to Whitney Houston, Tina Turner, Celine Dion & Mariah Carey, Kristen knew her calling was to be up there with the Divas. She would put her ear up to the speaker that her little sister had torn and eaten half of as a baby, forcing herself to perfect every note just like the recordings.... She thought in the studio you only had one chance. Thinking that way so young trained Kristen for her soon to be successful career. Kristen's sister Shannon sings back-up as well as writes with Kristen. 7 years apart in age, they still remain a very strong relationship.

Kristen has worked with great artists and producers as well as released and produced her own CDs. With perfect pitch, her vocal range spans 4 octaves, with an unusually mature sound. Starting at age 14 Kristen visited many radio stations getting up at 3:00AM to sing live in the studio for her huge fan base in California. As the radio DJs and Television stations fell in love with Kristen's unforgettable songs and sound, fun personality and her "born to be a star" classic style looks. Kristen was a regular, singing at San Francisco 49er games, and San Francisco Giants games as well. She landed a spot on the famous TV Show "Star Search" then a few years later becoming known for her yodeling she did on another TV Show "Nashville Star". She calls herself, the Reality TV reject, almost reaching the finish line but never making it all the way. Wearing a yellow ribbon around her wrist at shows, representing her support to our U.S. troops around the world, she is an all American girl. Kristen wants the U.S. troops to know she doesn't forget about them, even while she is on stage. Kristen knows exactly who she is and knows in her heart it's meant to be. Kristen's other love would be writing songs with her guitar and piano sitting in the Gulf of Mexico on a white sand, aqua water beach with a fishing pole at side! Her preference in music style is Pop and is also known for her songwriting and electric performances.

Turning down major record deals at age 16, Kristen knew she wasn't ready yet. She wanted to take the time to find who she was as an artist and songwriter. Kristen started producing her own records at the young age of 15. She was able to sing and perform different genres and that only grew with age. Record companies believe it's important to have a grasp of what audience you are appealing to. As an artist, thinking outside the box, Kristen took charge and perfected the idea of singing hit pop songs, dancing, writing music and playing instruments. Her appearance is easily accepted by many audiences, and so is her voice. This day and age, music is a rough road. It's not easy to please, and not easy to get heard. Why box yourself into one thing, if you can pull off more than one? Kristen loves to dance, plays the guitar and piano while she has that big voice that is so rare. All in one package, something that has never been done before. Currently Kristen is working/writing with Chris Trevett, finishing her independent record. Chris has worked on records by Backstreet Boys, N'Sync, Britney Spears, Aaron Carter, and more. With his name on over 100,000,000 record sales, he seems to think Kristen has what it takes to be a worldwide pop diva. Kristen is very musically involved and plays several of the instruments on the recordings for her project. Writing weekly for herself as well as other artists in mind, she plans to find more hit songs. Kristen stands strong in her belief that it's "All about the song, it's time to wake up the record industry"...! -Kristen McNamara... This is a show that has never been done before. Kristen plans to bring back music, brighter than ever. On a mission to prove, new or old..... a great entertainer with hit songs, can still sell millions of records. Just watch.

My mission is to spread a real message people can relate to through my music and spirit, by just being myself. I believe my job is to help people through the talent God blessed me with. I am determined to change the world through my music and drive to help those in need. I created an organization that helps people called "L.A.U.G.H." (Love. All. Unconditionally. Giving Hope.) I plan to travel to many places in my own country as well as others, to search and help those in need. Giving music, smiles, and memories. I love children, I love people in general and just want to help. I will. We will. Together. Love, Kristen. :o)
