ARTIST HISTORY
After a 3 years as an acoustic duo, Corey Zaks (lead guitar) and Kevin Foster (rhythm guitar/lead vocals) decided to take the Earthtone sound to a new level. Galloping through an array of musicians, finally Earthtone seems to have its roots! A group of friends in a band called Spies broke up, the duo quickly jumped on the opportunity to work with the bass player Ryan Nicholls. Ryan obliged to the request and began rehearsing with the band in December of 2008. In August of 2009 Earthtone had another transformation, aquiring drummer Taylor Gross from out of town. Taylor has fit in well with the band and the 4 members continue to perform, write and record.

4 multi-talented musicians joining styles and flavors from all musical backgrounds.
in June 2007 we (corey and kevin) released our first EP as a duo with some help from other musicians.
Then in January 2009 the long awaited EP2 was released with a bang at Johnny B's in whitby ontario. We've shared the stage with such acts as iLLScarlett, Hello Beautiful, Mother Mother, Crush Luther and Dinosaur Bones
We are currently releasing our new music for free download in demo format.
