ARTIST HISTORY
1. Dave Van Sise a.k.a. "DVS" has been playing guitar and in clubs since 1975 and songwriting as long as well. Award winning singer/songwriter/Rhythm guitarist/ Blues Harpist/ lead guitarist, Dave has gone from NY to Florida and decided to stay in Florida like a native. Through many years of experience and a number of Bands, Dave has now the ability to have the Band of his dreams and that is "DVS" the Band. With some great unique originals in tow, "DVS" the Band is not going to be just your everyday sounding Band. But one that you not soon forget!
2. Criag Miskey- Our Master Bassist, lives in St. Petersburg, Fl.
Craig has over 30 years of professional performance experience and is now a part of the "DVS" equation. Craig is not only a Master Bass player but Is a part of the Main functions of the Musical structure of the Band, giving it that Rich sound we have. We are Honored to have Craig onboard.
3. Steve Allbritton- from Palm Harbor, Fl., Once an Olympic Competition Swimmer, and Has been on Wide World of Sports back in 1978, Steve is "DVS" the Band's greatest Lead guitarist to grace our stage. A family Man like the other men in the group, Steve takes and adds true depth with his lead guitar work and his vocal talents. An element that is very hard to find, Steve can take a song, and give it that ethereal touch that transcends it beyond it's original confines. Steve having a ton of Blues training in his styling’s has even gone beyond that for "DVS" the Band to become our Icing on the cake so to speak. He has even been caught with Les Paul creator of: What else: The Les Paul guitar!
4. Boone Hawks- from St. Pete. Fl., a Master Rock and Blues Drummer since 1970 Boone has become co-band leader of "DVS" the Band, along with Dave Van Sise are close friends and a great musical trend setters for the Band.
Boone has toured through the south with Bands like Eddie Van Zant, Muddy Waters and Sawyer Brown and since becoming part of "DVS" the band has gone where no Drummer has gone before, right into a new realm of New Styled Original songs that Boone gives Originality and total Backbone too.

"DVS the Band", headed by the band's namesake David Van Sise a.k.a. "DVS", has over 35 years of singing, songwriting and performance experience. Along with his Band members: Boone Hawks, Steve Allbritton, Craig Miskey, and Clive Smith, "DVS the Band", With their own unique spin on the memorable Rock we can associate our lives to, is going to make a dent on the music world one way or the other.
